Forestville Shopping Centre or Starkey Street Shops

Forestville is a suburb of Sydney, Australia. It is located in the Northern Beaches and is 13 km north, north east from the Sydney CBD. It is bound to the east and west by bushland and to the south by Middle Harbour. Forestville combines all the best features of a peaceful environment with the convenience of nearby Warringah Road, which makes it a great place to commute to the CDB from.

Primarily, the suburb has been comprised of low density housing. However, with the recent expansion of the Forestville Shopping Centre and the construction of medium density apartments along the edge of Warringah Road, this has gradually begun to change.

Forestville Shopping Centre, also know as Starkey Street Shops is conveniently located in a bushland setting on Starkey Street at Forestville just off Warringah road. The Forest Coach line Bus service stops at Jamieson Square on the main Road. Forestville shops feature some great cafes, restaurants & delicatessens, hair dressing salons and Real Estate Agents. Forestville appeals to those who prefer a quiet relaxed village style living on Sydneys Northern Beaches.

There are many schools in and around Forestville. The nearest high school is Killarney Heights High School, but there are other high schools nearby such as Forest High School which is near to Frenchs Forest and Davidson High School which is located in Davidson.
