Sydney's Northern Beaches

Terrey Hills is a suburb to the north of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia.
Situated about 30 minutes drive north of Sydney, Terrey Hills is the western most gateway to the Northern Beaches. Travelling from St Ives, Terrey Hills is located to the left of Mona Vale Road and runs from the Forest Way Junction right through to the end of the dual carriageway some two kilometres further.

Terrey Hills enjoys many Tourist Attractions Sydney Wildflower Nursery & Waratah Park Waratah Park is a landmark site in Sydney and is best known as the home of "Skippy the Bush Kangaroo". The Skippy TV series was filmed at the Park, which is situated about 5 minutes drive through Terrey Hills into Duffys Forest adjoining Ku-ring-gai Chase and Garigal National Parks.

One of Sydney's premier private golf clubs Terrey Hills Golf & Country Club is also situated in Duffys Forest and features first class club facilities. One of our favourite drives is to take the Scenic Drive from Terrey Hills to Pittwater down McCarrs Creek Road.

Terrey Hills also has a local shopping centre including an IGA supermarket, a Post Office, a video store, and a number of restaurants and Real Estate Agents. There are a number of sporting facilities a BMX bike track where competitions and races are held. Terrey Hills is also home to the Forest coach lines depot. Terrey Hills owes its name to the two original land holders Samuel Hills and James Terry.
